From the fossil-rich limestone soils of Waipara, this is a moderately concentrated, characterful Pinot Noir with real depth and personality. Vibrant raspberry and cherry lead the way, layered with liquorice, mineral tones, and subtle oak that add complexity without overwhelming the fruit. There's a generous, open quality up front, balanced by a firm backbone of tannins that bring structure, length, and genuine cellaring potential.

Slightly rustic in the best possible sense — this is a wine with soul. Drink it now with a good meal, or put a few bottles away and revisit in 3–5 years as the tannins soften and the complexity deepens.
