Named for the Whekau — the Laughing Owl, once native to Aotearoa and now lost to history — this is a whisky that carries its story with quiet pride. A collaboration between international craft and New Zealand innovation, Laughing Owl is something genuinely new in the world of single malt.

Crafted by Two Trees Distilling in the United States, the whisky is matured using their unique process that integrates native Mānuka wood alongside American oak — right there at the distillery. That Mānuka influence is the signature: subtle, distinctive, and unmistakably connected to Aotearoa even from across the Pacific.

Non-chill filtered and natural in colour, Laughing Owl delivers a smooth, balanced whisky with layers of malt sweetness, gentle spice, and subtle woody complexity. Nothing harsh, nothing overworked — just a contemporary single malt with a uniquely New Zealand edge.

Sip it neat to appreciate the Mānuka character, or with a few drops of water to open it up.
